Photograph & Video Policy

ASBOG sponsored events and meetings are held in public or semi-public venues. To document and promote these events, photography and video recording are routinely conducted.

1. Rights and Consent

By participating in an ASBOG event, meeting, or workshop, you acknowledge that ASBOG reserves the right to use any photograph or video taken during the event without obtaining express written permission from the individuals featured. ASBOG® may use these images and recordings in publications, marketing materials, and websites sponsored or produced by the organization.

2. Promotional Usage

Uses include, but are not limited to: brochures, newsletters, reports, presentations, social media, and the official website. Image quality and framing are chosen to represent events in a professional and respectful manner.

3. Privacy Protection

To protect the privacy of attendees, ASBOG will not include full names or personal identifying information alongside published photographs or videos without prior written or verbal approval from the subject.

4. Opt-Out Procedure

If you do not wish to have your image recorded or distributed, please notify the photographer or event organizers at the registration desk. Alternatively, you may submit a written request to the ASBOG® office:

Please include a current photograph of yourself for identification purposes, so that event staff can recognize you and exclude your image from future publications.
