Day of the Examination
All examinations are Computer Based Tests (CBT) administered at proctored Prometric testing centers. Candidates should prepare for the following:
- Arrival: Plan to arrive at the testing center at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment for check-in procedures.
- Duration: Both the FG and PG examinations are four (4) hours in length. If you are taking both exams on the same day, you will schedule them as back-to-back sessions with a lunch break in between.
- Required Materials: Bring a valid government-issued photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, or Military ID) that matches the first and last name on your admission confirmation.
- Allowed Aids: Bring an approved, non-programmable calculator (with the cover removed), a straightedge, protractor, and engineer's scale. Lockers are provided at testing sites to store personal items (watches, phones, backpacks) during the exam.
